DomainKeys Identified Mail in Cloud Hosting
The DomainKeys Identified Mail functionality is pre-activated for all domain names that are hosted in a cloud hosting account on our cloud web hosting platform, so you will not have to do anything on your end to turn it on. The only requirement is that the given domain name should be hosted in a web hosting account on our platform using our NS and MX resource records, so that the e-mail messages will go through our email servers. The private key will be generated on the server and the TXT resource record, which contains the public key, will be published to the DNS system automatically, so you won’t need to do anything manually on your end in order to enable this functionality. The DomainKeys Identified Mail authentication system will enable you to send trustable email messages, so if you are sending a newsletter or offers to customers, for instance, your email messages will always reach their target destination, while unauthorized 3rd parties won’t be able to spoof your email addresses.
DomainKeys Identified Mail in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The DomainKeys Identified Mail feature is offered by default with any domain that’s added to a semi-dedicated server account with our company. The domain must also use our name servers, so that its DNS resource records are handled by our platform. The latter makes it possible for a special TXT record to be created, which is in fact the public key that verifies if a certain email message is legitimate or not. Such a record is created the moment a brand new domain name is added to an account through the Hepsia Control Panel and in the meantime, a private key is created on our mail servers. If you use our email and web hosting services, your email messages will always reach their target audience and you will not need to worry about unauthorized individuals spoofing your email addresses for scamming or spamming purposes, which is something pretty important in case you use emails to contact your business associates.
